June 7, 2018at 6:24 amHi Shaun,
Hope all is well. I am a musician from Montreal, and I saw the demo of your 69 vibe from Burgs, and it’s sounds awesome. I’ve had and tried many of the most popular vibe pedal and would really like to try yours. It says out of stock on your site, any idea when it would be available again, and if so, what is your lead time for building these ?
Thank you very much in advance

June 7, 2018at 8:39 amHi Fabrice,
Thank you so much for contacting me. I only make these pedals in very small batches so I had 5 up yesterday and they are gone. Have another 3 on the way so if you would like to order one I have made 3 available on the site. They will take me 1 week to build, tune, test and ship.
All the best and thank you for your interest in my pedals

December 1, 2018at 11:48 amHey I was passed on your details via a great friend of mine Ishan Cooper who highly recommends your pedals. I’m basically wanting to start collencting pedals and I’m after a fuzz that creates that classic/vintage distortion. Is there any way to come and hear this pedal? I’m based inn melbourne.
Let me know if that’s a possibility?
Kind regards
Rich

December 1, 2018at 12:31 pmHi Rich,
Thanks for sending me a message. I’m going to do a bunch of demos this week to give some more insight into some of the sounds these pedals can make. Hopefully it can help. If you have more questions please email me at shaun@shaunklinger.com.au and I’ll be happy to help.

December 31, 2018at 4:03 pmHi Shaun.
Brett Kingman sent me here. I recently heard your Klinger Supa Fuzz pedal. Wow… awesome tones!
How can i purchase one of your Supa Fuzz pedals?
( I live in the US ) –
Thanks, Robert

January 2, 2019at 5:06 pmHi Robert,
Thank you so much for contacting me. My Supa Fuzz units are out of stock at the moment but I’d be more then happy to make you one. I’m currently on break with my family but if you give me a few weeks I can have one ready for you. I can make them into smaller enclosures too if you need smaller footprint for your pedal board if needed. Price is $229 AUD plus 20 AUD shipping to the US. Let me know if that sounds ok for you. All the best and Happy New Year

Super keen to buy one. Just wanted to know the dimensions so I can make room on my pedalboard.
Keep up the awesome work.
Cheers,
Sam

September 15, 2019at 10:36 amHi Sam sorry for the late reply I’ve been away. The Dimensions of the vibe are 120mm x 95mm. Its a high sitting pedal so fits at back of boards well.

October 8, 2019at 4:46 pmHello, does this model have the switch on top? The bottom pic doesn’t show the switch. I’m getting it for my boyfriend (very first time he’s asked for something), and he wants the one with the switch, so I don’t want to mess it up. He’s “fan-girling” over this one! Thanks!
Shaun Klinger
October 8, 2019at 6:07 pmHi Luna, Yes the Mk1 has a switch for the gate on top of the pedal. Thanks heaps for your interest in the pedals. All the best

October 31, 2019at 3:34 amHello Shaun! I very much enjoyed your demo of your fabulous 69 Vibe. I commented on YT and asked about the trim pots – thank you for your reply. After seeing your demo and Brett K’s demo, I am gonna save up and get me one. By the way, a work associate of mine just ordered one of your MK I pedals – Matt is his name. We are in the Milwaukee area and are Klinger fans – so much so, that we now eat Darrell Lea Soft Australian Liquorice in your and Brett’s honor.
Shaun Klinger
November 1, 2019at 10:36 amHi John,
Haha, Thank you so much mate. I hope Matt enjoys his MK1 and you get to have a play through it as well. I might go grab myself some Darrell Lea goodness now as well. Good stuff!

November 4, 2019at 3:02 pmHi Shaun, just got mine today. It’s awesome, sure cleans up nice…. but seeing as I’m not into nice or clean, it sings pushing a cranked BF style… and is comically just about dangerous running into an acTV4. Can’t imagine this ever leaving the chain to be honest. 3 thumbs up!!
Shaun Klinger
November 4, 2019at 3:05 pmThis means a lot to me Tony. Thank you so much

May 3, 2020at 2:38 pmHow likely are you to build one of your 4 knob Buzz Fuzz pedals such as the one Brett Kingman demo’d some years back? How much would it cost?
Thank you.
Shaun Klinger
May 6, 2020at 1:35 pmHi Brian,
At this point in time I have no plans to reissue the 4 knob Buzz but I will be happy to modify a 3 knob version for you. If you let me know during time of purchase I can put the pre control on the side of the pedal for you at no extra charge. Hope this is good for you. All the best Shaun

May 8, 2020at 9:14 pmHello, interested in the Ravi octave fuzz. Where can I hear what it sounds like? I’m in Melbourne. Would I be able to test it out sometime to possibly purchase? Cheers, Ben

May 11, 2020at 9:24 amHi Ben,
There is a small snippet in one of Brett Kingmans new videos. https://youtu.be/ePz7w5Mq4vk The Ravi is an improved version of this early prototype. Thanks for you interest.

May 14, 2020at 9:04 amHello Shaun. I love what I’ve seen on the Mk-1 pedal! I’m interested. What does it cost for shipping to the US? Are there color options? If not gold is cool. I assume the price is $ 289 Aus?
Let me know your thoughts & potential timeline?
Thanks Brian

May 14, 2020at 10:22 amHi Brian,
First off, thank you so much for your interest in the MK1. All prices are in Australian dollars. Shipping worldwide is $30 AUD and that comes with tracking. The service normally takes 7-10 business days but due to the virus there has been delays so allowed and extra 3-5 days.
At this time i only have gold in stock and i can ship within a few days of order.
I hope this helps.
All the best

Oh, that’s great news! I’ll keep an eye on this page. Your Supa Fuzz, on the way, will be my first intro to playing through a TB circuit. I wonder if the mk1 also benefits from a bias knob? I’ve read they still respond interestingly when rolling off the volume, but that it’s dependent on the builder’s interpretation to whether a mk1 cleans up much or at all? Anyway, I look forward to giving one a go. Cheers.
Shaun Klinger
June 3, 2020at 8:27 amHi Tim,
I think you’ll enjoy the Supa, its a bit thicker and has a midrange honk thats very cool.
It’s not as high gain as the MK1. The MK1 doesn’t need a bias, the original circuit was made to have a gated sound. This nails the broken effect that fuzz was originally designed to replicate. My MK1 also has the switch which at lower Attack settings will give you lower noise, a nice decay and more tones via your guitar volume knob.
I’ll have some back in stock very soon.
All the best
Brian
June 19, 2020at 4:57 pmHi Shaun,
Are you ever going to build more of the Supa Fuzz again? I see the product page is removed and I was hoping to grab that last one you had in stock but didn’t scrape together the cash before it was bought by someone else. Also, is the Buzz Fuzz coming back?
Thank you,
Brian

June 20, 2020at 11:58 pmHi Brian,

August 4, 2020at 8:15 pmHi Shaun,
I am interested in your Heavy Psych Silicon Fuzz. I own a mid 60’s Japanese Mosrite, that I love and think this would be a good addition to the collection. I’m also Looking for a fuzz that is different to what I already have. I have a Big Muff (Tyms Rams Head big mud), Mk III Tone Bender (lovepedal) Mk II tonebender (British pedal Company). I like stacking pedals especially my Overdrives or Dazatronyx germanium amplifier with my fuzz pedals. Do you think this would work? Cheers Ash
Shaun Klinger
August 5, 2020at 12:19 pmHi Ash,
Thanks for writing to me. Sound like you have a great collection of pedals. The Heavy Psych is definitely made for use with others pedals and driven amps it adds a tonne of attitude to your tone. Looking at the pedals you have in you collection i’d say the old Japanese pedal is very similar. If you want something little different then all the one you have i’d go for a MK1. There price is a little higher but i think you’ll be happy with the tone variation it will give you. You can also check out the Omnidrive and Fuzzdrive for the same boost fuzz – fuzz drive concept. The boost in the omnidrive and Fuzz in the Fuzz Drive are very versatile.
All the best

October 31, 2020at 7:12 amHi Shaun,
I’ve just bought your Klinger 69 and its great. Selling my Fulltone Deja Vibe now! Just was wondering what do the internal adjustable trimmers do? Are they meant to be left alone or are they tweakable?
Cheers
Steve
Shaun Klinger
October 31, 2020at 9:12 amHi Steve,
Thanks mate! The adjustments inside the pedal can be moved but I would be careful not to forget the original setting as it’s the sound of the pedal.
The balance control can be turned to your liking anti clock wise is a cool sound.
Be very carful with the gain and bias, as it can put stress on the globe if you turn both anti-clockwise at the same time.
I would only move the Gain a tiny bit and experiment with the bias. Move in very very small increments. You’ll get more phase less 3D or more 3D more ‘watery’ chorus moving the Bias trim.
Either way turn it up and enjoy mate!
All the best
Shaun
